Balancing the hard and the soft elements: Podcast interview with Patricia Cichocki & Christine Irwin

Patricia Cichocki & Christine Irwin both started out as practitioners planning and implementing changes in large organizations and then returned to university to pursue further studies, and found that there was a wealth of tools and techniques that could inform the work they do as organization design consultants. They since built up a small consultancy (Design to Change) and has served clients in a number of industry sectors.

 

In the interview we discuss such issues as:

  • The difference between organization design and development
  • Indicators that suggest that a dedicated organization re-design process should be initiated
  • The best way to set up and run a re-design project
