If we want to create more effective organizations, we need to consider the process by which we design them – how we analyze the current situation, how we develop alternative solutions, and how we implement new organizational models.
I have created a video that describes the key aspects of the organization design approach that I have developed. There are three key goals:
- Create alignment between the organizational model and the strategy¨
- Create organizational models that are coherent
- Create trust in order to ensure valid information and compliance
I also touch on the issue I discussed in the last blog post about balancing the need for top down direction with participation in the process.
